At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Redding Car Crash on Highway 299 at Intermountain Road
Redding, California (October 23, 2020) – At least one person was seriously injured when two vehicles collided Friday evening on Highway 299 in Redding, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said the two vehicles collided at about 7:41 p.m. at the intersection of Intermountain Road.
A Chevrolet pickup truck and a Hyundai sedan were involved in the accident. Authorities said the crash may have occurred when one of the vehicles collided with the other, which was making a turn.
Highway 299 Car Crash in Redding
An ambulance was sent to the scene to transport at least one person who was seriously injured to the hospital.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the crash.
