Minor Injuries Sustained in Redding Crash on 5 Freeway at Hilltop Drive
Redding, California (December 19, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a traffic collision early Wednesday morning in the area of Redding, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 4:41 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, on northbound 5 Freeway at Hilltop Drive.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles including a big rig crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Multi-Car Accident on 5 Freeway at Hilltop Drive
Responding emergency crews along with medical personnel attended to the injured parties. The number of the wounded parties and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash.
