Man Killed in Red Bluff Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 5 near Sunset Hills Drive
Red Bluff, California (April 7, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Cottonwood, Red Bluff, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 11:40 p.m., on April 6, on Interstate 5 just north of Sunset Hills Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 when he was struck by a 2021 Honda Civic, driven by Adrienne Randall, 40, from Forest Grove, Oregon.
Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Interstate 5
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
