Rancho Murieta, California (June 10, 2020) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a head-on crash at an intersection in Rancho Murieta, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 1:43 p.m. Monday, June 8, near the intersection of Jackson Road and Murieta Parkway. Jackson Road is also known as Highway 16.
According to the local news report, a black Volkswagen sedan collided head-on with a black Chevrolet Silverado near the Rancho Murieta intersection.

One person was treated at the scene by responding paramedics for minor injuries. It was unclear whether the victim was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The westbound and eastbound lanes of Highway 16 at Murieta Parkway were closed following the crash.
