Quanah Souza ID’d as Man Killed in Martinez Car Crash on Highway 4 near Pine Street
Martinez, California (October 9, 2020) – Quanah Souza, 24, of El Sobrante, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday morning in Martinez, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
At about 3:04 a.m., on October 4, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly single-vehicle accident on Highway 4, just east of Pine Street.
According to the CHP, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Souza, went off the north side of the highway, traveled through a fence, and came to rest on its wheels on Arnold Drive. The Silverado then caught flames.

Sadly, Souza was pronounced dead at the scene.
