Pregnant Mother Killed, Stepdaughter Critically Injured in Head-On Crash at Conejo Avenue and Fowler Avenue in Selma
23-Year-Old Woman and Her Unborn Baby Killed, Stepdaughter Severely Injured in Selma Accident at Conejo Avenue and Fowler Avenue

Selma, California (March 24, 2019) – A four-month pregnant woman was killed and her stepdaughter was severely injured Friday evening in a traffic collision near Selma, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. Friday, March 22 near Conejo and Fowler avenues.
Authorities said the 23-year-old pregnant woman was driving a black sedan northbound on Fowler Avenue when a Chevy Malibu was in front of her and attempted to make a U-turn.
A southbound white Silverado swerved in an attempt to avoid the Chevy but ended up colliding head-on with the black sedan.
Pregnant Woman Killed in Crash near Selma Friday
The woman, along with her unborn baby, were killed in the accident. Her 11-year-old stepdaughter sustained severe injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
