Porterville, California (November 15, 2019) – A 69-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of Porterville Wednesday evening, a local news source reported.
The fatal pedestrian crash, which was reported at around 7:44 p.m. November 13, occurred in the area of Locust Avenue and Hockett Street
Authorities said a 2009 GMC Sierra driven by a female driver struck the male pedestrian while crossing the street for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities did not disclose the identity of the deceased.
The female driver of the GMC was not hurt in the crash.
