Porterville, CA: Man Airlifted after Major Truck Crash on Highway 190
Man Hospitalized after Highway 190 Truck Accident near Road 284 in Porterville
Porterville, California (October 1, 2019) – A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a truck collision that happened on Highway 190 in Porterville, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place at about 8:09 a.m. near Road 284.
CHP said a 35-year-old man driving a Honda eastbound on the highway made a U-turn in front of a westbound semi-truck. The vehicles collided and the Honda was sent to a nearby field by the force.
The driver of the Honda was airlifted by Tulare County Fire Department paramedics to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
There were no other details available.
CHP is investigating the accident.
