Porterville, CA: CHP Investigating Major Injury Crash at W Teapot Dome Avenue and Road 248

Porterville, California (July 21, 2021) – At least one person sustained severe injuries in a traffic collision that occurred early Tuesday morning at an intersection in Porterville, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck was reported just before 5:00 a.m. at W Teapot Dome Avenue and Road 248.

A pickup truck and a sedan collided for unknown reasons. The sedan ended up overturned onto its roof after the impact.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to find at least one person with severe injuries. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
