44-Year-Old Woman Dies in Bicycle Accident on Hemlock Street at Seaside Drive in Oxnard

Oxnard, California (June 19, 2019) – The woman who was involved in a bicycle accident in Oxnard early Tuesday morning has succumbed to her injuries, according to the authorities.
The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. June 18, on Hemlock Street at Seaside Drive.
As per the report, a 44-year-old Port Hueneme woman was riding a bicycle westbound on Hemlock Street when she tried to make a left turn and was hit by a westbound 2009 Ford Explorer driven by 26-year-old Oxnard man.

The woman was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in serious condition and was later pronounced deceased.
The motorist is reported to have remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The CHP said alcohol, drugs and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
