Minor Injuries Sustained in Pomona Crash on Highway 57 and Interstate 10
Pomona, California (February 12, 2021) – Multiple vehicles, including a patrol car, collided Friday morning in Pomona, resulting in minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The eight-vehicle collision took place at about 7:14 p.m. on the southbound Highway 57 Connector to eastbound Interstate 10.
As per the report, a patrol vehicle, a big rig, a Ford Contour, a Ford Escort, and four other vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
Police officers, CalTrans, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries in the crash, the report said. It remained unclear if any victim was hospitalized.
There were no other details mentioned.
CHP is investigating the incident.
