Man Struck and Killed by Two Vehicles Near Holt Avenue and St. Paul Street in Pomona
Pomona, California (December 22, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles in Pomona on Saturday evening.
The fatal pedestrian collision happened in the area of Holt Avenue and St. Paul Street at approximately 7:35 p.m. December 21.
As per the report, a male party was struck by a vehicle of unspecified type at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
Due to the impact, the victim was knocked in the No. 1 lane of westbound Holt Avenue, where he was hit by another car driven by a female party.
Fatal Pomona Pedestrian Crash Near Holt Avenue and St. Paul Street
The unidentified victim was found laying unconscious in the roadway and suffering from severe injuries following the wreck.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials affirmed that the first motorist involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
The second female motorist stopped after hitting the man and cooperated with the investigation.
The investigation is underway.
