1 Person Killed in Pomona Crash at San Antonio Avenue and Philadelphia Street
Pomona, California (February 3, 2021) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in Pomona, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of San Antonio Avenue and Philadelphia Street.
According to the police, an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle for a code violation at the intersection when the driver failed to stop.
The officer pursued the vehicle briefly before the driver crashed into another car at Philadelphia Street, the officials said.

Sadly, the driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
