Pollock Pines, California (May 15, 2021) – Authorities are investigating an early Saturday morning Pollock Pines crash that left at least one person dead.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 12:35 a.m. on the 6207 block of Pony Express Trail.

The pileup involved five vehicles that collided under unclear circumstances.

At least one person was killed in the accident, the report said.

No other details were given about the crash.

CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
