At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Highway 99 Big Rig Crash at Striplin Road
Pleasant Grove, California (September 9, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a big rig collision that happened Wednesday morning on Highway 99 in Pleasant Grove, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash took place at about 10:14 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway at Striplin Road.
A big rig and a silver sedan collided for unknown reasons. The sedan was blocking traffic lanes after the crash, and the big rig was on the right-hand shoulder.
At least one person suffered major injuries, and an ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the accident.
