Placerville, California (July 8, 2019) – One person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a Motorcycle collision in Placerville Sunday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The Motorcycle crash, which was reported shortly before 2:51 p.m. July 7, occurred on Cherry Acres Road, near Highway 193.
The accident happened when a black SUV collided with a male party riding a black Honda motorcycle. The initial report indicated that two pedestrians were possibly involved in the crash.

All the involved parties involved were attended to by the paramedics who responded at the site shortly after the collision. At least one victim was flown to the hospital for further treatment. The identity of the injured party has not yet been released to this time.
The crash remains under an active investigation.
