Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Placer County Crash on Westbound 80 Freeway near Applegate Road Sunday afternoon
Placer County, California (April 29, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in Placer County, according to a local news source.
The crash, which was reported at about 3:05 p.m. Sunday, April 28, happened on the 80 Freeway near Applegate Road on-ramp.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a silver 2003 Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle collided with a white colored sedan for an undetermined reason on the westbound 80 Freeway.
The motorcycle rider was knocked to the ground upon the impact.

The motorcyclist was treated by responding paramedics before being transported to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the rider at this time were not immediately available.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
