5 Injured in Placentia Car Accident at La Jolla Street and Melrose Avenue
Placentia, California (June 11, 2019) – Five people were injured in a traffic collision that involved a Placentia police car in Placentia Sunday morning.
The crash occurred at about 11:45 a.m. June 9, at the intersection of La Jolla Street and Melrose Avenue.
The accident happened when a Placentia police car responding to a house fire call collided with a Nissan Frontier at the intersection. Due to the impact of the collision, both vehicles were damaged.

A total of five people in the Nissan were hurt following the wreck. The victims were attended to by the paramedics who responded at the site shortly after the wreck. Three of the patients were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The identities and current condition of the victims have not yet been revealed to this time.
Meanwhile, the accident remains under an investigation.
