Placentia, California (June 22, 2021) – One person was hurt after multiple vehicles crashed Tuesday afternoon on an interstate in Placentia, Orange County.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred on the 57 Freeway at Orangethorpe Avenue at approximately 2:10 p.m. on June 22.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a white Subaru, a Nissan Xterra, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, and a Volkswagen collided in the afternoon hours for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, the Nissan Xterra acquired major damage and required a tow truck.
57 Freeway Multi-Vehicle Collision
One person was hospitalized at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton with a left eye injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
