1 Hospitalized after Pittsburg Car Crash on Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue On-Ramp
Pittsburg, California (February 5, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized after a multi-car crash that happened Tuesday morning on a highway in Pittsburg, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred at about 8:49 a.m. on westbound Highway 4, just west of Railroad Avenue on-ramp.
Authorities said a black Chevrolet Avalanche, a gray Toyota Corolla, and a third car collided for unknown reasons.
Responding paramedics said the accident resulted in major injuries. At least one person was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center with lacerations to the left knee.
The vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
CHP is investigating the collision.
