Pittsburg, California (January 29, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in the area of Pittsburg, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 6:01 a.m. Tuesday, on westbound Highway 4, just east of Bailey Road.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Authorities closed lane 3 and 4 following the collision. The roadway was opened as of 6:39 a.m.
