2 Injured, 1 Trapped after Pismo Beach Crash on Highway 101 near Wadsworth Off-Ramp
Pismo Beach, California (October 24, 2019) – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Pismo Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near the Wadsworth exit.
According to a report by the CHP, the crash involved three vehicles. Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside the wreckage.
Authorities said two people sustained unknown injuries as a result of the crash. However, at this time, the name of the victim and their condition were not immediately provided.
The northbound lanes were closed at around 9:17 a.m., and motorists were diverted off the highway at Wadsworth Avenue.
