Pico Union, California (June 26, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision that occurred Thursday evening in Pico Union.

A white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck crashed with a second vehicle on Interstate 110 near the connecting ramp to the Interstate 10 Freeway just before 10:50 p.m. on June 24.

It was not immediately established how the collision occurred on the northbound side of the intestate.

As per the report, the crash left at least one person with unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the second car did not stop to render aid and escaped from the crash site.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
