Possible Injuries Reported after Highway 138 Accident near State Route 2 in Phelan
Phelan, California (February 25, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported Monday afternoon after a traffic accident in Phelan, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The wreck occurred at around 12:16 p.m. on State Route 138 near State Route 2.
As per the report, a dark blue Nissan Kicks rear-ended a semi on State Route 138. The force of the impact caused the Nissan to flip over onto its roof.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the Nissan.
Possible injuries were reported in the accident.
Traffic backed up in both directions of Highway 138 for hours.
No other details were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
