3 Hurt After Car Slammed into Petaluma Starbucks on East Washington Street
Petaluma, California (November 16, 2019) – Three people were injured after a car slammed into a Petaluma Starbucks on Friday morning, according to Petaluma Police Department.
The accident happened just before 11:40 a.m. November 15, on East Washington Street.
As per the report, a female party driving a Honda Accord east on East Washington Street crashed into a building after she made an unsafe lane change while avoiding a collision.
The initial report showed that the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into the Starbucks
Officials said they found the car halfway inside the building.
Car Crashed into Petaluma Starbucks and Injured 3 people Inside
Three people inside the Starbucks were struck by the car. Two of the victims had suffered minor injuries and were treated at the coffee shop, while the other was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
The involved driver was not hurt in the collision.
Meanwhile, drugs or alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash.
The identities of both the driver and the injured victims remain unknown to this time.
The investigation is underway.
