Petaluma Accident on Highway 101 Sends 1 to Hospital

Petaluma, California (April 14, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Petaluma, a local news source said.
The multi-vehicle crash was reported shortly before 9:15 a.m. on Highway 101 near East Washington Street.
A Ford F250 slammed into the rear of a Toyota Tacoma that was stopping on the roadway for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, the Ford overturned and landed on its roof in the freeway’s center lanes.
Additionally, the Toyota was pushed forward and hit a Nissan Murano, which then crashed into an Acura MDX.
1 Hospitalized After Highway 101 Crash
One victim was hospitalized at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the April 14 accident is underway.
