Pedro Trevino Killed in Car Accident on Valley Parkway near Rose Street in Escondido
Escondido, California (May 4, 2021) – A man was killed in a rollover car crash in Escondido on early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened on East Valley Parkway near North Rose Street shortly after midnight.
77-year-old Pedro Trevino, of Escondido, was driving a Mitsubishi Galant westbound on East Valley Parkway when he lost control and crashed into a palm tree before careening into a restaurant parking lot where it struck two metal poles.
Trevino was transported to Palomar Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
