Person Killed in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident on Stony Point Road at Hearn Avenue
Santa Rosa, California (March 20, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in southern Santa Rosa, according to a local news source.
The tragic accident took place just after 7:00 a.m. on Stony Point Road near Barndance Lane, just north of Hearn Avenue.

As per the report, the person was crossing Stony Point Road when they were hit a vehicle of unspecified type and built. The force of the impact knocked the person into the air.
The pedestrian, whose name has been released pending identification and notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
The driver reportedly stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The crash remains under by the police.
