Victorville, California (April 23, 2021) – A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a car in Victorville on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 15 Freeway near Palmdale Road at about 6:12 p.m. April 22.
A male pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a green Toyota Camry. Victorville City Firefighters and officers from the CHP responded to the crash and found the male pedestrian down in the center divider.
Pedestrian Airlifted after Crash on 15 Freeway in Victorville
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to a trauma center for treatment.
Two occupants of the vehicle were evaluated at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
