Victorville, California (December 29, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday night traffic accident that killed a pedestrian in Victorville.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 11:35 p.m., on December 25, at the intersection of Palmdale Road and Cahuenga Road.
According to the officials, the pedestrian was running northbound across Palmdale Road when a westbound black Dodge Challenger struck them.
The pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing, crossed Palmdale Road in front of the Dodge, causing the collision to occur.

First responders arrived at the scene and aided the pedestrian. The patient was then taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
Palmdale Road between Borego Road and Del Gado Road was closed for several hours due to the accident.
