One Person Killed in Vermont Vista Pedestrian Crash on Figueroa Street near 88th Street
Vermont Vista, California (April 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a motorcycle on Saturday morning in Vermont Vista, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 12:25 a.m., on April 10, on Figueroa Street near 88th Street.
According to the police, the pedestrian was struck by a northbound motorcycle for undetermined reasons. It was not clear if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcyclist was critically injured and was hospitalized for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
