San Jose, California (December 1, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in San Jose on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:40 p.m. on Highway 87 near Julian Street.
The authorities said a pedestrian was hit by a car in the southbound lanes of the highway.
The pedestrian was killed in the collision.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately established.
The collision resulted in the closure of the third and fourth lanes
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
