Fresno, California (November 9, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Fresno County near Selma on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 10:34 p.m. November 8, on Floral Avenue near De Wolf Avenue.
A 44-year-old pedestrian was walking west on the westbound lane of Floral Avenue when he was struck by a westbound Chevy Tahoe.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to Selma Community Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
