Person Killed in Stanton Pedestrian Crash on Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue
Stanton, California (September 30, 2019) – A person was fatally hit by a vehicle on a busy street in Stanton early Sunday morning.
According to the authorities, the crash was reported at about 12:29 a.m. September 29, in the area of Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue.
Authorities said a pedestrian was trying to cross the street against traffic when they were hit by a newer-model white Toyota.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s age, gender and name were not immediately released.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the investigators.
Authorities said alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The authorities closed all southbound lanes of Beach Boulevard at Chapman Avenue as the scene was examined.
The crash remains under investigation.
