Paula Napoli Dies after DUI Pauma Valley Crash on Highway 76 near Adams Road
Woman Killed in DUI Pauma Valley Accident Identified as Paula Napoli on Highway 76 near Adams Road

San Diego County, California (January 10, 2020) – 43-year-old Paula Napoli has been identified as the Winchester woman killed in DUI Pauma Valley crash in San Diego County, according to authorities.
The fatal collision occurred on Thursday, January 2, on Highway 76 near Adams Road at about 10:30 p.m.
Officials said an Infiniti sedan driven by Napoli and a Toyota Prius driven by a 23-year-old Temecula woman collided. The Temecula woman was traveling eastbound on Highway 76 and was trying to pass other cars when she drifted into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into the sedan.
Paula Napoli DUI Fatal Crash in San Diego County
Napoli was extricated from the wreckage by responding emergency crews and was taken to the nearby Pale Fire Station where CPR was administered on her. Sadly, Napoli did not survive and was declared dead at the station.
An Infiniti passenger, identified as a 44-year-old Simi Valley woman, was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
The Prius female driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Palomar Medical Center where she was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation is ongoing.
