Grass Valley, California (January 28, 2021) – Paul Dale McCoy, 70, of Hayward, has been identified as the man who was killed in a single-vehicle accident earlier this month in Grass Valley, Nevada County, authorities said.
Just before 8:00 a.m., on Friday, January 8, emergency personnel responded to Interstate 80 near Highway 20 for a report of a car accident.
Upon arrival, they determined that a vehicle, driven by McCoy, had crashed about 100 feet down an eastbound embankment. Details of what led up to the accident were not immediately available.
