2 Pedestrians Injured in Pasadena Crash on Raymond Avenue and West California Boulevard

Pasadena, California (September 12, 2019) – Two people were injured in an auto-pedestrian collision on Wednesday afternoon in Pasadena, according to police.
The incident took place just after noon on Wednesday, September 11, at Raymond Avenue and West California Boulevard.
Police said two cars collided near the intersection and the impact sent one of them into the sidewalk, where it struck two pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians was pinned by the vehicle and was extricated by firefighters.
The trapped victim, identified as a woman in her 80s, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The second victim, a 26-year-old woman, was hospitalized with scrapes and bruises.
The two drivers were not injured in the crash.
Pasadena police are investigating the incident.
