1 Killed in Pasadena Pedestrian Accident near Colorado Boulevard and Madison Avenue
Pasadena, California (October 6, 2019) – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Pasadena early Sunday morning , according to a police report.
The fatal collision, which was reported at about 3:00 a.m. October 6, occurred near Colorado Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
The Pasadena Police Department said that a man in his 30s was crossing the street when he was struck by a gray pickup truck driven by 41-year-old Higinio Arceo for unknown reasons.
Higinio Arceo Arrested For Fatal Pasadena Hit-And-Run Collision
The male party was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Arceo did not stop after hitting the pedestrian but fled the scene.
Police found a truck parked about four blocks from the collision site, which had damage consistent to the accident. They arrested Arceo on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, DUI and driving without a license.
Police are still investigating the fatal crash.
