Woman Critically Injured in Pasadena Pedestrian Crash at North Raymond Avenue and Washington Boulevard
Pasadena, California (September 23, 2019) – A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Pasadena, according to police.
The incident happened at about 10 p.m. September 22, at North Raymond Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
Police said a 47-year-old Pasadena woman was hit by a 2002 Honda Accord that had been southbound on Raymond Avenue and which was making an eastbound turn onto Washington Boulevard.
Woman Critical after Pasadena Crash
The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 29-year-old Pasadena woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol, drugs and speed were unlikely factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
