18-Year-Old Woman Killed in Paradise Hills Car Accident at Munda Road and Paradise Valley Road
Paradise Hills, California (September 23, 2020) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Paradise Hills, San Diego, police said.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:45 a.mm at Munda Road and Paradise Valley Road.
According to the authorities, a 1992 Mercedes sedan, driven by a 19-year-old man, lost control during a turn, veered off the roadway, and careened down a canyon.
Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident at Munda Road and Paradise Valley Road
The driver and his four passengers were able to climb up the roadway.
An 18-year-old female passenger was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The 19-year-old driver fled the scene and was later found hiding in the nearby bushes.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
