Man Critically Injured in Palmdale Crash on Rancho Vista Boulevard and West Avenue O-8
Palmdale, California (July 25, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The collision occurred at about 10:20 p.m. July 24, in the area of Rancho Vista Boulevard and West Avenue O-8.
Deputies said a 2012 Toyota Yaris was heading east on Rancho Vista Boulevard when it crashed into a man who was trying to cross the street.
Man Hospitalized after Palmdale Pedestrian Crash
The victim, identified as a man in his 20s, was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The involved driver remained at the scene.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
