71-Year-Old Woman Killed in Palmdale Pedestrian Crash on 10th Street West and Marketplace Drive
Palmdale, California (September 19, 2019) – An elderly pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Palmdale, according to deputies.
The collision happened at about 4:20 a.m. September 18, at 10th Street West and Marketplace Drive.
According to the report, a 71-year-old woman was trying to cross the 10th Street West against a red light when she was hit by a northbound Toyota Camry.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The crash is under investigation.
