2 Seriously Injured in Palm Springs Car Accident at East Palm Canyon and Farrell Drives
Palm Springs, California (September 4, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a traffic accident at an intersection in Palm Springs, according to a local news source.
The crash happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3 at the intersection of East Palm Canyon and Farrell drives.
According to authorities, a Chevrolet pickup truck was heading northbound on Farrell when for undetermined reasons, the pickup collided with an Infiniti SUV that was traveling westbound on Palm Canyon.
The force of the impact caused the pickup to flip onto its side.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to the male drivers of both vehicles who sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Infiniti sustained major injuries and the Chevrolet driver had moderate injuries. Both patients were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The names and condition of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
East Palm Canyon was blocked between Sunrise Way and Araby Drive for around four hours as crews worked to clear the crash site.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
