Palm Springs, California (June 6, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a traffic accident at a Palm Springs intersection, according to a local news source.

The wreck was reported at around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at the intersection of East Tahquitz Canyon Way and South Farrell Drive.

According to police, a Ford SUV collided with a Dodge pickup truck for an unknown reason at the Palm Springs intersection.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to at least one person from each vehicle who sustained unknown injuries as a result of the crash. The two patients were then taken to a hospital for further medical treatment.

Their names and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
