The mishap involved two vehicles and a motorcycle that crashed at the intersection for undetermined reasons.
1 Hospitalized after Palm Desert Crash
The wreck left the motorcyclist with minor injuries. Paramedics attended to the unidentified patient and then rushed them to an area hospital for further medication.
Meanwhile, officials closed down the highway for half an hour.
