Pacoima, California (August 31, 2019) – A female pedestrian was critically hurt in an alleged hit-and-run collision in Pacoima late Friday night.

The pedestrian collision was reported at around 10:15 p.m. August 30, in the 12300 block of Osborne Place, near Glenoaks Boulevard.

A local news source indicated that a woman who was legally in the roadway was hit by a vehicle on Osborne Place for an unknown reason. The primary report showed that the car was traveling east on Osborne Place from Osborne Street at the time of the collision.

The female party sustained severe injuries in the crash. She was transported to a hospital by paramedics where she was listed in critical condition. The identity of the patient has not yet been disclosed to time.

The male driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled from the scene. Police affirmed that the motorist then slammed into a fence and went onto a train track near San Fernando Road and Montague Street. Due to the impact, he was ejected from his vehicle.

The suspect was also rushed to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. He was expected to be charged with felony hit-and-run.
