At Least 1 Injured in Pacoima Accident on 5 Freeway near 118 Freeway
Pacoima, California (May 12, 2019) – At least one person was injured Friday morning in a traffic accident in Pacoima, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 5:00 a.m. Friday, May 10 on 5 Freeway near 118 Freeway.
The CHP said several semi-trucks and a pickup truck were involved in the collision in the middle northbound lanes of 5 Freeway. As a result of the crash, one of the semi-truck jackknifed and it left debris on the freeway.

At least one person was treated at the scene by emergency responders before being taken to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
