Los Angeles Man Killed in Pacific Palisades Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast Highway at Porto Marina Way

Pacific Palisades, California (February 15, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday night near Pacific Palisades, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, February 14, on Pacific Coast Highway at Porto Marina Way, authorities said.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian, a 27-year-old Los Angeles man, was crossing Pacific Coast Highway outside of a crosswalk when the driver of a northbound vehicle swerved to avoid the man but ended up hitting him.
The vehicle then drifted into southbound lanes and crashed down an embankment onto the beach.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
The pedestrian, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of family, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were injured in the crash.
Pacific Coast Highway between Porto Marina Way and Temescal Canyon Road was closed following the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
