1 Killed in Oxnard Pedestrian Accident at Vineyard and Central Avenues
Oxnard, California (December 15, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a pedestrian accident that resulted in the death of one victim on Saturday afternoon in Oxnard.
The fatal collision, which happened at about 5:44 p.m. December 14, occurred at the intersection of East Vineyard and Central avenues.
The CHP said a pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection for reasons still under an active investigation.

The victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased remains unknown to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the investigation.
Police requested a tow-truck to remove the car from the crash scene.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
