One Killed in Oxnard Forklift Accident on South Rice Avenue
Oxnard, California (July 12, 2019) – A man was killed in a forklift accident on Thursday afternoon near Oxnard, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported at about 3:45 p.m. July 11, in the 1900 block of South Rice Avenue.
Authorities said a man was struck by a forklift that rolled over him.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the industrial accident.
